Following the success of Beatport’s 2020 Producer Challenge, Loopcloud and Beatport have teamed up once again to announce the biggest music production challenge of 2021, in collaboration with Beatsource, LabelRadar and Plugin Boutique.
So how do you enter? Head over to the challenge landing page here, and download the Participant Pack to create an original track. Every entrant can take advantage of free plugins, sounds, music courses and DJ services worth over $200. When your track is ready, upload it to LabelRadar before July 15th (23:59 PT) to be in with a chance of winning.
30 finalists across all 6 genres will be selected by the organisers’ team of music experts on August 6th. Each finalist will receive $2,500 worth of equipment or services from Beatport, Beatsource, Loopcloud, Plugin Boutique, Producer Tech, Cloudbounce, iZotope, Softube and Ujam.
6 winners, 1 from each genre, will be considered for a full release and promotional campaign via prestigious labels Shogun, Rekids, Def Jam, Nervous, DJ City, or Spinnin, depending on their genre. All finalists will then go head-to-head in a public vote to be in with a chance of winning the grand prize – a dream studio setup worth $30,000 including the coveted ARGON8M and COBALT8X.
